John Shaw founded Shaw Flooring Center after noticing that many of the practices in the residential and commercial flooring industries were not customer-friendly, did not emphasize quality, and were not designed to deliver the best value for the dollar to the customer.

It was this understanding of the shortcomings within the flooring industry and John’s determination to create a business that combined quality and value that led him to open his original location of Shaw Flooring Center in 1996. To accomplish this, Shaw Flooring Center has developed a new full-service, comprehensive, and unique approach to each project that avoids problems before they occur.
